Douglas Shafer Portland, Oregon Doug Shafer is a Portland, Oregon artist/bookbinder. He has been exhibiting artwork for over two decades, and is represented in Portland by Butters Gallery; in Washington, DC by Joshua Heller Rare Books; and in Cambridge, Ma. by Priscilla Juvelis Rare Books. His artwork is in numerous collections around the country, including the rare book collections of the National Gallery in Washington, DC and the Houghton Library of Harvard University.
