Born 1955 in Fushun, Liaoning Province, China. Graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now known as the China Academy of Fine Arts) in 1984, where she is currently a lecturer in the printmaking department. Her works have been exhibited in England, Japan, Germany, America, Australia, Hong Kong and China.

1996 Speaks at the British Museum about her works in the collection.
1994 "Dreams" exhibited at the Eighth National Art Exhibition and awarded bronze medal. Twelve more pieces from the "Dreams" series collected by the British Museum
1993 "Dreams" Series woodblock prints exhibited at the Print Exhibition, Northern Ireland, and acquired by the British Museum.
1987 "Horizon" exhibited and acquired by Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena, California
1985 Etching "Horizon" won third national prize in the National Youth Exhibition.
