Jon Jay Cruson is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts with a Masters degree in painting, drawing and printmaking. Mr. Cruson has been highly collectable not only nationally but internationally as well. He has works in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London England and in private collections from Italy to Japan. He is represented in many corporate collections within the United States such as the Ford Collection and Chrysler Collection in Michigan.

Cruson has a touch of artistry that defies logical explanation. His work ignites a spark of creativity that touches a deep core of mental imagery and sensitivity. His paintings need neither embellishments nor gimmicks. They are what you see, an appealing blend of precise expression alive with rich colors and evocative realism.

These canvases at the White Lotus Gallery reflect Cruson's love of the landscape. His use of acrylic in a bold and direct manner is appealing yet comfortable to the eye. He arouses your sense of remembrance. With the use of flat color juxtaposed to pattern and textures, he created a superlative dynamic.
